We work with NITech’s Center for Future Communications Research to deliver the speed, quality, and safety the future needs, advancing the research in information devices, systems, and networks that underlies vehicle and mobility technologies, a critical field in today’s society. The program also provides opportunities for students to participate in international standardization activities, resulting in well-rounded practical research abilities backed by both knowledge and critical thinking abilities.

A future driven by large-scale mobility communications

Tomorrow’s communication systems will need to deliver a level of speed, quality, and safety far beyond what they are capable of today, combining big data collected from sensors with artificial intelligence and computing power to create sophisticated self-driving vehicles, mobility solutions, robots, smart factories, telemedicine interventions, and more.

Our Program of Future Communications develops professionals able to provide timely, practical solutions in response to these demands. The program is designed to cultivate the sophisticated research and development skills needed to apply electrical/electronic engineering and computer science, along with the high-level communication skills needed to encourage people to properly and widely adopt those solutions.
