The Program of Future Communications uses an interdisciplinary approach spanning electrical engineering, electronic engineering, and computer science to turn out professionals able to provide timely, practical solutions in response to complex social demands. Program graduates will have the practical research abilities to support rapid real-world successes in advanced mobility, which defines the self-driving era, as well as in robotics, smart factories and farms, telemedicine—while at the same time possessing the high-level communication skills needed to encourage people to widely adopt those advances. By leveraging their interdisciplinary strengths, they will make their mark on the world as core researchers and engineers in a broad range of applied fields rooted in future communications technologies.

Professor Atsushi Kanno
Program Director

Communications networks

Wired/optical communications: Kanno

Wireless, 5G/Beyond 5G, radio wave sensing: Okamoto, Wadayama, Sakakibara

AI:Tanaka

Wireless systems, wireless power supply/antennas: Hirayama

Communications system integrity

QoS, security: Ito

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC): Oh, Matsumori, Yano

As the Society 5.0 era brings a sophisticated integration of physical and cyber spaces, advances in our commun […]

["post-14","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
